as long as u don't play high-end games or perform heavy tasks, it'll work. intel 740 is not a dual-core processor (non-core duo) but i'll work, jus dont expect desktop power. 512mb ram is a little on the low side (standard is 1gb nowadays so u might suffer a slowdown when multitasking). nvidia graphics card? more details needed. if its a geforce 6 or 7 series then its good.

if that's what u want to go with then i guess but amd processors are much much better than Intel especially the dual core ones

go for other processor as this one has low performance than the dual core processor intel d5 1.66 Mhz and geforce card

Pretty good. Depends on what you are doing though. If you are doing Yahoo Answers and checking email, its fine. If you are doing graphic art, high tech games, or CAD work, it may not be as good.

if it does not have a Intel Duo processor...it is outdated
