i think so! alcohol has alot of calories. if i go to a few parties in a row, i notice my stomach is a little bigger than normal, from extra calories. just be careful, u dont want to drink all of your calories, gotta eat too, so maybe cut down on the wine a bit. u could research online to see how many calories wine has in it... i dont personally know, but i think u could be surprised

Alcohol does have more calories than you'd think.
But exercise will help the belly.
Apart from this - I feel concerned that you're drinking evry night. Why?
Please think about drinking less - more than one glass of wine a night is not good for your general health.
Alcohol can be aging (I know it is a pain, I love to drink wine!!!!)
You might want to have a check up with your doc. It takes years to do significant liver damage, but if possible, avoid health problems in the future by cutting down on the alcohol.
Hope this helps.

Drinking alcohol is something we can all enjoy as a society, however if we do not watch our intake we can easily be putting ourselves on a path to obesity.
There are some simple steps we can all take to avoid these problems:
1. If you are going to drink mixed drinks, mix with diet beverages or fruit juices.
2. Stay away from "heavy" beers, light beers taste just as good.
note: Do not forget light beers have just as much alcohol as "heavy" beers.
3. Remember that white wines are lower in calories than red wines.
4. Try drinking a glass of water between drinks. You will not only fight off calories, but you will keep yourself hydrated as well.
5. Alcohol slows down the body's metabolism, which means you are burning less fat when you are drinking.
6. Don't forget to exercise at least 3 times a week.

It could be. wine is lower in calories than beer, but still a lot higher than plain grape juice. try doing about 20 minutes of light exercise a day. alternate cardio with toning workouts. I like to dance so that takes care of my cardio, and a yoga/pilades combo is great for keeping my tummy flat. I drink a lot too and this really helped me get back in the shap I was before I was old enough to have access to all the wine I could drink lol

Yes! I used to drink wine every night as well. Since I stopped the belly has gone. Not only beer gives you a belly, all alcohol is fattening.

Wine has sugar in it, even dry reds. If you are drinking and not exercising, it could be. Drink more water and less wine, you will notice a difference.

If you drink a lot of wine almost every night, I think you're under a lot of stress. Stress and depression will cause obesity. Have a great vacation.
