ANYONE can become an actor on the stage, screen or television.
It takes a LOT of sweat and training and an ability to make illusion look REAL.
Now - focus on your strengths...and that could include your skin color.
BE the character you want to portray.

If Taye Diggs can, then anyone can. But then again, Taye Diggs is smoking hot. So put it this way, if you're as drop dead gorgeous as Taye Diggs and also very dark skinned, sure you can be successful. If you're a hideous gila monster...maybe not so much.
