Mahmoud Ahmadinejad - President of the Islamic Republic of Iran

He was elected like Hitler.
The man made his name as a kidnapper and torturer.
He threatens to wipe out whole nations based on racist ideology.
His ideology was founded by the Mufti of Jersualem in 1930s, who was a wanted man by the Allies in WW2. The Mufti was a close ally of Hitler and lived in Germany for a number of years before trying to raise revolts against the Allies in Arabia, in support of the Nazis.
He develops weapons in secret to avoid treaty obligations not to do so, as did Hitler.

You know a little african country called Zimbabwe, have a look at the president or should i say dictator, Mr Robert Mugabe, he may not have killed ruthlessly like Hitler, but what he has done not only to the country itself with a communist style, but to the innocent people that lived there all their lives and were ruthlessly forced out of the country or killed by his armies of youth followers is enough to put him pretty high. The only thing that has kept him alive and still ruling is the fear from all his followers.

Rillifane is exactly right, the Iranian President is quickly becoming almost a re-incarnation of Hitler, with his questionable rise to power, his rhetoric, his blatant disregard for the UN and the US, but most of all, his revival of dispicable "proof" of a Jewish conspiracy, his desire and certainly the will to act once they have nuclear capability to obliterate Israel, all Jews, and any allies...

Hitler was evil, but he also was popular in his time and right under the watchful eye of a world unwilling to act, amassed considerable military power and resources... and over 6 million people payed the price for Europe and USA's appeasement and peace-at-all-costs mentality...

Does any of this sound familiar? George Santayana is famous for saying that those who do not learn from history are condemned to repeat it... woe to us if we allow the current facism to grow and spread... hint... it's not George Bush or Sean Hannity...

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is a possible future Hitler. The people who said Bush, Sean Hannity and Rush need to read a book once and a while.

There really aren't any dictators on the conquest path right now, so I'd have to say...nobody. Slovadon Mislosovich was most likely our most recent Hitler with the Genocide thing.

Those of you that are going to say George W. Bush, really need to reread your history books.

Nobody! Come on, Hitler was a DICTATOR, which means he had absolute power. Bush has not that much power, he has to go through the Congress and the Supreme Court and the People, so, he's not gonna get very far if he tries anything.

Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

The Iranian president has repeatedly questioned Israel’s right to exist, saying the country should be wiped off the map and dismissed the Holocaust as a myth.

Their have been a few leaders in recent years who compare with Hitler. Just think of Yugoslavia and Rwanda. Pol Pot of Cambodia could also be compared with Hitler. But I cannot think of any of our current leaders who matches Hitler.
George Bush is a selfish man and a very poor leader but to compare him with Hitler is a crime.
