Great questions! The two strongest political organizations in the world spend all of our tax dollars fighting each other! It will quit when we as a people finally say "enough is enough" and refuse to vote until we get someone worth voting for.

try to understand what is in the best interests of our country and the American citizens,,, even if our political party of choice is wrong,,,made mistakes,,not to take it personally,,, but agree that there are serious problems for we the people,,, and that we will become a united nations again with respect and honor from the world community,,,, soon it will happen

I don't think we can. But, if everyone desired, it could certainly be more civil.
And the 'news' media could help by actually reporting all the facts, and trying to be objective - two things that have been missing for decades.
