Do you think a Take-Out Indian Restaurant in Conway, AR would be successful?

Conway Arkansas has about 50,000 people. It is 30 miles from Little Rock. The town has three Colleges (approx 15,000 students total). The town is growing at rapid rate, and new business's are opening almost everyday. There are only two indian restaurants in Little Rock; and Conway is almost considered a suburb. I would like to open Take-Out only Indian Restaurant. I would like some input or adivce from experts in the industry. Thanks a lot.

I think the success would depend heavily on advertising. I frequently travel from Northwest Arkansas to Conway for my job, and I would definitely be interested in your restaurant but unless someone at my company knew about the place I would not be aware of it either. The main complaint I hear when in Conway is the lack of restaurants close to areas such as the industrial park and other corporate headquarters. Plenty of people pass through Conway and the area is definitely growing, but the Take-Out only concept might be an obstacle to success. Traffic is a huge problem in Conway as well, so adding delivery to the business may be a good option. I'm not an industry expert, just a possible future customer.

Yes. I know the area. The closest Indian that I'm aware of is Star of India and I wasn't that impressed with it. The Take-Out option just makes it that more attractive.

Indian Restaurants seem to to well just about everywhere. I wonder if it's a trend though.
