(the below is a letter in response to a Mr. Zoumaras in the Truman State U. student newspaper)

Taking you all to task for what he oddly indicates as a sustained and unfair critique of Student Senate without him giving you the defense, and natural-justice entitlement, of reply, as he names no allegedly fine senators or even evasively discusses the issue of value-for-levy on students' money that you have been valiantly trying to raise all semester. To write so McCarthy-like and pompously is not good, or accurate uncondescending history, or heavens, even herstory, given the gender representativeness of most Truman students. It's shameful taunting.

The letter is written by a local citizen, Larry Iles, who is, shall we say, one of the town's more interesting personae. The Index usually publishes a letter a week.

well the only reason this comes to mind for me is because i am really interested in it, but i know that some schizophrenics talk in a way that is described as "word salad" where what they are saying makes sense to them because they are thinking so abstractly but it doesnt make sense to everyone else

Jeez. I can't believe that this was written by a student! It kind of makes me glad that I didn't go to Truman State. (I was seriously considering it before choosing UMKC.) I think he sounds angry and wants to be heard but is using too many big words in order to sound like he knows what he's talking about. It's sad...

He suffers from a condition where you speak in run on sentences and try to impress others with billion dollar words.
