CZECH REPUBLIC is the great team ranked #2 in the World the Nation is located in Europe between Southeast of Germany and Southwest of Poland and is very tiny compare to USA.
The Czech dominated the hall match in every aspect of the game first goal for Czech in 5th minutes scored Koller 6-8 tall man bu header from 3 meters.There was one chance for US when Reyna I guess strike the post but this was it for US.
The second goal was scored by Rosicky very butifull goal from distans mestake made by defenders kicking out to Rosicky.
The last goal Rosicky get very nice pass and run through 5 defenders of USA not even keep up with Rosicky and Rosicky scored by lob the goalie. Completely Czech dominated the game.

USA team is a good team, based mostly on athletic power: they lack on tactic and technique.
In yesterday's match Czech Republic strategy was to do not allow L.Donovan (USA's most talented player) to play his game, and it worked very well.
USA do not have powerful forwards and its defense is very "sterile": Eddie Johnson was brought to the game too late and the defenders allowed too much "freedom" for Czech's Rosicky.
Also, B. Arena failed to bring in Germany Freddy Adu, a young talent that may have been useful for the games.
USA need to improve on tactical skill: that can be gained only playing with Teams from Europe and South America, and NOT just playing with Mexico or other N.American Teams.

Poor ball handling. Passes and recptions were just sloppy. Stopping the pass with a high foot, chest or thigh. I can do that. They had to set before every pass, I mean hardly any one-touches. I lost count how many times Beasely lost the ball because he couldn't kill the pass. When you can't handle the ball effectively the game speeds up too fast because you need so much space/time to operate. The only thing they could be comfortable with were deep lobs hoping to split the defense. CR wasn't faster or stronger, they were just clean and precise in the midfield and it killed the US. Watch it again and you'll see that the US's inability to control the ball set the stage for everything else.

America lost against the Czech Republic yesterday because they hadn't the heart to win it. They lost their will to win a few minutes after hitting a post and getting fouled out of a breakaway. They could have equalized and made that a game worth watching but they have no heart.
As for America not being interested in soccer that is BS, America is half Hispanic. In tweny-five years America's team will be even better and half-hispanic, worry not, American fans, your time will come.

Because they kept tryin to chip over the defense but most czechs are avg. 6' 2" and amercican os 5' 10" and they kept doin it plus the were jus total flat...on top of all this Czech are the best team in europe and probubly 2nd in the world (they won Eroupe cup in 2005) America jus doesnt have that drive the rest of the has to win in football (not american football)...over played but Czech Rep.

I think that eventhough the US is growign to like soccer they dont' have the passion, and the love for the game. That devotion that other countries have for Futbol,the US lacks. and they do'tn have the support that other coutnries have. Like at my job, barely anyone talks about it, while when a futbol loving country plays, we gather, have a big party, people dont go to work.. is like we stop everything to watch that game and I just dont' see that here.

I think the USA does not have the quality of players that the other countries have. This is not the summer Olympics the USA does not dominate football.

Americans dont really care for soccer. They have their national sports (baseball, gridiron (they call it football) and basketball) and its only really expats that follow the sport which is a shame because football is the world game.
