This boy at my school likes me alot he gave me his phone number last month I called him and we chit chatted for a couple of minutes then he said he was going to call back but never did. Well he basically text messages me everyday to say Whats Up , but he never ever calls. In one text messages he told me he has been liking me for a couple of months.Somtimes i think that maybe he's kinda shy to talk to me , but in school he's loud and basically the class clown. I just want to know why won't he just call me. Do any of you guys like a girl so much that you're afraid to calll...?

he just needs to break out of his shell. being a class clown is just to cover his shyness up. be patiant with him if you like him bc if you push to hard he'll never get over it. just keep calling him until he's comfortable enough to call you

Guys don't like to communicate, It's easier to type than it is to talk. This is especially true in the high school years. Boys have so much going on; all they want to do is get laid and roll. There isn't much time for small talk.

Sounds like you need to either get aggressive or move on, cause he isn't making any progress.

I have found that young people like to text message because it is easier for them to talk that way. some guys just don't like to talk on the phone.

He probablys got a chick on the side, or just prefers to talk to you so he can get to know you first and not get hurt later!!
