Not saying that I agree with her in any form, but Anne Coulter to me is America at its finest. We can say what ever we want , no matter who it hurts and make a profit while doing so. The constitution wasn't written to protect peoples feelings or emotions, but to give us freedom of speech. Not only has she said some god awful things in this present and past books, but she has become wealthy by doing so. I say if you don't like her turn the television and don't buy her book. Don't say all these emotional things about her, because as an American she has the right to say what she pleases. I don't think it's any worst than Madonna or Jennifer Lopez pretending to be talented, and somehow they manage to sell millions.

I totally understand what she was trying to say , and the small group at which it was directed, but don't you think the message can be lost sometimes in the comment?

They were taken out of context. What she meant by that was directed at a small group of 9/11 widows who were taking pot shots at Republicans - and because they are widows , no one is allowed to comment on their outrageous remarks .She makes a good point -and that is , that Democrats are good at putting "victims" in the forefront, to make outrageous claims - but , because they are "victims" , nobody can comment or refute their claims . Cindy Sheehan is another example , being used by the "drive-by media" , for political statements. While Sheehan did not raise the hero son who went to war and re-enlisted -she has become a pawn for liberals-who attack anyone who stands up to her outrageous remarks . She can be seen following Jesse Jackson around all over-who-probably would have had her committed to the mental institution she belongs in , if he didn't need her for propaganda purposes .. Ann Coulter should have been a little more sensitive , given the tragic events of 9/11; but she got her point across. The widows are making money on their husbands' demise while running down Americans ; and Coulter is outspoken about the fact that she is fed up with liberals using people in the media that no one is "Allowed" to respond to because their are "victims".

I think what she said was taken the wrong way.
If people would read between the lines they would see what she was getting at. The problem here is that people don't like to hear the truth and when some one like Anne Coulter has the balls to say it like it is, despite the fact that she will be attacked by the media and nay-sayers, well, I just have to like her.
Everyone sees things differently in life, rare see the real truth of things. Those who can see the truth shouldn't be attacked because the rest of the world is blind.

The great thing about free speech is that Anne Coulter has a right to spew vitriole...and the great thing about free speech is that I can call her on it...the almighty buck rules that princess in a little black dress and there is absolutely nothing satirical in her comments as her supporters seem to think...mean bitches are just mean bitches and Ann reigns supreme. I don't know where she got her idea that the women she trashed are considered safe from contradictory opinions just because they are widows...If they were wrong or controversial (instead of true american women) than they too are open to debate...name calling is really too junior high and reflects exactly the attitude that rules Anne.

I agree with you that she should be able to say what she wants. I just don't like the fact that because it's Ann Coulter she'll get a bye and it will go away within a couple months. The Dixie chicks said one sentence about George and got hammered for it for more than a year. Ann Coulter unfortunately will gain even more fame for her comments and sell more. Just seems unfair to me.

I hate ann coulter...and i am pretty sure she will burn in hell for eternity...she needs a tranquilizer dart and aswift kick in the azz...for republicans to be so patriotic, i can't believe that they let this woman get away with talking sh!t about 9/11 victims and their families...but if the dixie chicks attack the president it's game over...this is hypocrisy at it's finest...I'm not even a republican and i can't believe they haven't silenced her yet or slandered her awful book...Ann coulter can kiss the fattest part of my black azz!

I didn't even mention all the awful things she said about minorites and gays...i can't stand that *****

Coulter is wonderful. It's so refreshing to hear someone stand up for what they believe in without giving in to all the pressure to shut up and be more sensitive.
