I can still remember the day before my brother saying a rhyme 2, 4, 6, 8 who will we assassinate. I was just in kinder-garden after it was said a couple of times my brother asked who do you think will die?

Aside from the televised broadcast, I would assume that hundreds of people were looking at the President when he was shot. I wouldn't think that anyone was looking elsewhere, aside from Secret Service agents, and those up to no good. Seeing the victim getting shot doesn't really do the investigation a whole lot of good....as it was videotaped and could be reviewed over and over.

Of those hundreds of people on the parade route that were in a position to view the shooting, there isn't anything to think that 65% of them are still alive. Figuring the average age of the people in the crowd was 30-35, making them 70-75.

Well, anyone who was watching Television that fateful day, would still be alive today, unless due to illness or old age...

Its only been 43 years ago, and if some one was in thier 30s (as in Moms raising kids), they would be in thier 60s or 70s, maybe in thier 80s too, so a lot of folks would still be alive.

I remember being sent home because of the Assasination... (being too young to know what was going on, I was mad because they took all the cartoons off, and showed the hearse and all that stuff for the entire day that I was off...).

But, I remember JFK as I remember seeing him on televison, giving this speech and that speech and not knowing what it was all about, just waiting for the cartoons and serial superheros to come on..(real superman fan back then)...

I wish you well..

Although I wasn't in Dallas, I saw the whole thing covered on tv. It was an awful time. I did see Lee Harvey Oswald killed on live tv, and I was watching when Robert Kennedy was killed also.

I was in the seventh grade and remember we were all sent home early that day. It was all that was on tv for the next week. We were in front of it constantly. That was unusual back then , we didn't have 24 hour news channels. It really affected everone.

Your additional details are questionable...The assassination was shown live on TV...Why call people retarded?about what?
I was in a classroom in grade school..........It was horrible.
I still say that Lee Harvey Oswald did not assassinate the president. He was set up...............He knew Jack Ruby........I think Ruby shut Oswald up by killing him....Oswald would have talked.
He knew who shot President Kennedy, and why

Several hundred people saw Kennedy hit none saw the bullets fired thus the controversy.
