YES I am 27 with 15 year old twins. Yes I had kids extremely too young, but that is NOT important. Whats important is that I am raising them, and by myself at that. And we are all fine. Thank You.

I think people probably freak out because once the math is done they realize you were twelve when the mother got pregnant. I am sorry you have to do it alone. Hopefully you have plenty of help in your life from your parents.
You should be proud of yourself for taking the repsonsibility on. So many young people have sex at an early age but don't take responsibility for the possibly consequences. For that you are a rare gem in this world. I am sure your kids are happy they have a father who didn't let them go.

I would say having children at 12 was an extreme, not to say shocking to anyone even considering that their children would have kids that young. It isn't freaking as much as concern, shock and just plain wanting to know what the heck a 12 year old was doing having sex??? Your children are raising you more or less. I hope you drive the message home to them to do things differently. I commend you on being proud to have kids though! One word: CONDOMS!

People freak because it is not the norm in today's society to have twins at age 12. You have to look past what people think- there will always be someone out there judging- you cannot prevent that. You can be proud of who you are and your children. You don't have to defend yourself- you only have to be comfortable with who you are and love your children. More power to you! Best of luck!

So you had your kids when you were 12. I didnt even think boys sperm worked that young.
But i know how you feel i get looks all the time when people find out how old i am.
Im 30 and my daughter will be 15 in August.

Most 12 year olds haven't hit puberty yet. Atleast not 15 years ago. They keep getting younger these days...

Damn, that is young!!! Oh well, at least you are taking care of them and you love them. Keep being a good father.....don't hurt them ever (sexual, physically, mentally) and make sure you teach them good things in life. Sounds like you are doing a great job regardless! Forget what other's say.

I think that people judge you before they know you. I personally think that if you are raising them, no abortions or adoptions, I personally think that tells A LOT about who you are. You reealized your mistake about having kids too young, but it's OVER, DONE!!! You knew what you had to do and you did it!

Yea people tend to judge alot, I had my son When I was 17 and I get lots of dirty looks people just think if your a young parent you dont know what your doing
