Please don't act like this is something new that just started happening. Black people in general have (NOT ALL) have a little racism in them, they have just become a little bolder now. They hate the Mexicans (not hispanics just the Mexicans?), they hate white people, and sadly they hate black people. So far in my 27 years this is just a sample of what I have seen. From my cousins from Texas 21 & 23 that can't stand the Mexicans (and its not just them I have seen it a lot here in SC but I turn around and ask those same people..."Would you get out there now and plant and pick veggatables, fruit, and cotton? That is just a small sample of the jobs they are holding. Are you really ready to go back into the fields?), to so many black people that have been done wrong by "The White Man", to my own grandmother (may God rest her soul) that couldn't stand me because I was so much darker than the rest of the family (which I came to realize later in life did include a lot of dark skin people) she like my father, uncles, aunts, half-sister, and cousins are all light-skinned. This is something that may never change I haven't seen a group of people yet that didn't have some type of anger or hate against someone that wasn't "like them".

Why not become racist do you like anyone that hates you? I do see what you mean about blacks thinking they are white now because a lot of blacks are racists towards other ethnicities and their selves minus the whites which I think is because whites run the world not just america the world and after so many years of their views we all are going to be thinking like them.

Black Americans are becoming racist against who? Other races or their own? If you meant against other races then you may as well ask yourself "Why are white americans still racist against other races?"
I do not think that black americans think they are white now. Such a question is silly to ask. My guess is that the well mannered, intelligent, "normal acting" blacks are sick of STILL being looked at as the loud, low class, low IQ stereotyped race that they have been stamped with since they were brought here unwillingly from Africa.

White people are not the only race that is racist, if you think this then you are being racist by saying it. The world we live in is racist and its very sad to say that it will always be like that in some form.

. I believe god created us all equal. The problem
is alot of people do not respect themselves for who they are. I believe any race can harm there
own color. The parents are the ones that have to help change our world.Small towns need to come together.I see this because if you are only
used to a white culture or another, people are
scared because of hear-say...all they hear about is the bad. people.. what ever there culture, need to be given a chance. Imagine being a colored family moving into a white town or vise a versa a white family moving into a colored town..this pertains to any culture. If your not a strong family or person and willing to prove yourself to the outside world you are a good person, then people are going to judge. Don't
be afraid to greet people, if your Little shy, then just nod your head. Then again be the best you can be. Prove to the outside world.. you are as equal as the next. It's up to us to make our world a better place.Probably the hardest thing for us all strangely enough is to look into the eyes of a person of different origin because we are not used to other cultures. We are all curious, we are not used to others cultures like animals at a zoo, we are all curious.Don't let this affend you it's just our world, and we need to not be afraid. What is the proper term for example, when it comes to black families, hows that song go.Red and yellow black and white we nah nah nah in his site we are all the children of the world.

Black Americans have come a long ways as it relates to racism and race relations but we have a long ways to go. It is difficult to explain because of the advances Black Americans have made in society. In retrospect to those achievements, racism still exist and is still alive and active in our society through systemic tools and societal elements.

Why is gas less expensive in affluent white communities?
Why is the quality of meat and grocery items in affluent white communities less expensive than black communities?
Why is the quality of education and technology more advanced in affluent white communities?

After blacks become aware of economics and bias systems and the role it plays in racism, it can cause anyone to become racist - especially when one (person of color) who has been oppressed and continue to be pushed backwards.

I have lived in several cities and this racist or societal trend is prevalent.

In my conclusion, I discovered in some of the Midwest states socio-economics play a major role. Whites discriminate against their own race due to economics and the characteristics of the urban whites compared to urban blacks are extremely identical.

Unfortunately it is because we are human beings. We rarely return love from someones hate. It is understandable but regrettable. This is more than just a Black/white thing but a humanity thing. We as humans would do well to look at whatever faiths we follow and will find that almost all of them have something equivalent to the Golden rule. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Racisim is as old as humanity...Americans did not create or monopoloize racisim.

It simple exists in the world because people are always willing to look at differences to drive a wedge between them instead of bringing them together.

Its human nature to bond with people that are like you, and fear people not like you. This sort of tribal feeling protected humans in the past, and was a survival trait that helped our ancestors survive.

Nowadays, it can harm our survival as a species, so we all have to work to get past it, and cultivate understanding and tolerance for those who are outside our "tribe".
