I talked to this guy. He was 23 and a virgin. I am 23 and a virgin to but I thought it was weird that he was. He was attractive and had a major that would bring him alot of money and I am sure the girls loved that. When we met I thought her was a little fem and he was African American and the only music he really liked was tecno. I also though this was weird. We talked for a month and things were going great but he stopped calling all of a sudden. Also, he had never been in a relationship that lasted over a month. What are signs that a guy is struggling with homosexuality?

Don't make the mistake of assuming someone is gay by comparing them to a "laundry list" of stereotypes. I know many guys who like to shop, wear great clothes, and listen to techno. They're not gay.

I know many guys who love to play football, drink beer, and don't shower. They're gay.

If you want to play games and possibly offend people, then sure, look for "signs".

The truth is that there are no SURE FIRE SIGNS to be certain about ANYTHING about ANYBODY.

Be an adult, and ask him. It's simple, direct, and if he gets offended, let him know that you want to know because you're interested in dating him.

Being upfront, mature, and understanding will get you far in life. Playing games and stereotyping makes you just like everyone else.

The only sure sign a man is gay is when he openly admits he is gay, engages in homosexual sexual activites under his own consent, and decides that he is solely attracted to men.
Some men at 23 years old are not yet interested or secure in sexual relationships hetero or homosexual. The fact that he is a virgin does not mean that he is gay. A woman who waits for marriage or is a virgin at that young age as you are yourself is by no means a lesbian. Your "friend's" choice of music is not a determinant either. Many black and white people alike do not relate to the hiphop lifestyle, scene and music. If he likes to dance or listen to techno he sounds like a fun individual willing to express himself physically through performing arts and is not afraid to go against the grain and enjoy a stereotypically unlinked music and lifetsyle combination. His past short term relationships have no bearing on his future attempts at having a longterm and meaningful engagement with another adult. He may one day find someone special and wonderful that makes him happy and he will want to hopefully spend the rest of his life with him or her but at any time can end the relationship if it is unhealthy or unhappy for either partner. He may have stopped calling you because his new and close friend all of a sudden for no reason is calling him gay behind his back and he may be embaressed insulted and hurt. If he is gay or not it is cruel to judge and limit him this way you are going to have to work at becoming his friend again. If he is a homosexual it is no business of yours if unless it directly affects you or he is interferring with your life. Ask him if he is interested in you and be HONEST with him. It doesnt sound like you are being a true friend and its no wonder he cant feel comfortable with you any longer.

I would not think that he may be gay...he is probably a little nervous for being in a relationship for more than a month. Me and my last bf were in a relationship for about 2 and a half months. One of my bff knew about it too and so did my other friends.
He maybe afraid to lose his virginity to a girl if he has never lost it. But he should not be nervous...if you 2 were to have sex he would like it. No guy should be nervous in a relationship, that would sound kind of suspicious to me.

Those are not signs that he is gay. Liking sex with men is a sign that he is gay. Liking techno is not. It is not like there is a checklist of "signs of the gay" that fits everyone. For some men, being uncomfortable around gay people is a sign, for others it is just a matter or religious or cultural belief.

the only way to tell, is if his dick tastes like ****.

j/k (me gay, me make joke) I have been out for 25 years, and my best friend of 25 years JUST came out to me. I was seriously in denial, but then, so was he. But here's the signs I missed.
1) sleepovers. with guys.
2) gay porn on the computer ("gee, I don't know how that got there")
3) ducking female relationships.

Just ask him. Usually the sign is he sleeps with men. Don't judge a book by the cover. My brother was a virgian at 30 and so was his wife. We were taught to save ourselves for the right person and respect our bodies.

I've been around numerous gay guys and from your description this person fits the bill. But we can never judge a book by its cover. I can only say be careful he sounds suspect!

There is only one clear sign that a person is gay: he is sexually attracted to guys.

Talk to him. He'd appreciate it more than you tip-toeing around the issue, especially if you would be comfortable if he is bisexual or gay.

it sounds like he might be but who knows there might be other reasons for his behavior. the only way sure fire way to know is for him to tell you, so if I were you I'd let it be known I was available to talk to and there to be supportive, and not really think too much about it unless he brings it up.
