How can you determine your face shape? I hear "heart" "square" and all that and it confuses me.

Get a eyeliner. Stand in front of a mirror with your hair pulled back. Draw the outline of your face (hairline, inside of ears, and chin). Look at it. Does it look more heart, round, square or oblong.

It depends on the proportion of your face. I have a round face because it is equally wide as long. Heart shaped faces have broader foreheads than chins (shaped like a heart). Oval faces are slightly longer than wide. Square faces have prominent jaw-lines.

There is heart, square, round, and oval. The best way to find out is to ask someone you trust what your face shape is. That's how I found out. I asked my friend what my face shape was, and she told me it was heart.
