The Titans preceded the 12 famous Greek god which Zeus revolted against and overthrew them. There were 14 Titans that ruled during the Golden Age. I think the meaning of the word Titan is giant.

Titans are from Greek Mythology. During the age of " Gods " in Greece, they believed a family of Titans ( Huge oversized humans ) would overthrow Zeus.

the titans were the gods b4 zues and the others, who were defeated by the new gods, and then locked in the underworld, execpt for 2, olympus, who has to hold up the sky, and another, who's name i forget, who faught on the new gods side.
