If he is a recovering alcoholic yes, but if he's someone currently struggling with it no. I think he has bigger personal issues to worry about.
Now let's not be ignorant and think that there have been no alcoholic presidents.

yeah... as long as they are doing well in recovery.... i guess i would not vote for them if they have only been sober for like 2 years... I would at least want then to be sober for 10 years... not sure why.. i just would.
