No... the current stratagy is failing miserably while making hardened criminals out of small time, nonviolent users.
Unfortunately, the only way to win the war on drugs is to give up on it. From there, you continue to make the importation of drugs illgegal and then tax those like marijuanna that is grown domestically.
This way, you fund the war on illegal drugs coming into the states while keeping your citizens from becoming criminals.

Not at all . I think that jailing drug users instead of mandatory detox and rehabiliation , is a crime in itself. The drug users who commit crimes & sell drugs , should continue to serve sentences . I fail to see why policies are set up to fail; and when a policy has been proven useless-it is still practiced .Like health care -it needs a face-lift .

The War on Drugs is BS, all its doing is putting more m f'ers in jail, that's all its doing, don't believe the hype. People just wanna get high, i don't care if you take away all the dealers, all the blow, all the ice, all the meth, whatever, people will just become scientists.
Dudes will go into their garages, saying to their buddies, "check it out, you take a baby's bottle see, fill it with a little gasoline, dead lima beans, and suck it, you'll be f**cked up!." True story.

No I don't. I think that the heavy drugs(drugs that kill or allow people to harm others) should be banned but minor drugs like marijuana should be legal. It would stop the prisons from overcrowding among other things.

The U.S. has to do everything we possibly can to demote drug use in this country. About 80% of drugs bought help support terrorism.

No, but would any? Contrary to popular belief prohibition reduced the admissions to New York state mental hospitals for alcohol problems did this outweigh its negatives

no,,, illegal drugs should be the responsibility of the FDA and our medical professionals,, for dispensing and prescribing,,,, the war on drugs is only creating criminals,,dealers,,,smugglers,, users,,, growers,,,, coyotes,,, mafia,,, doping,,, drugging for rape and incest,,,,in the US there are millions of middle aged people still in prison since their teens because of drug possession ,, it's crazy,,, a culture of criminals have been created,, while a large majority of our young adults grew up incarcerated
