Social work is the assistance for those in need be it for money, home, work, it is an emotional support network designed to aide all members of society so that each one can be a functioning part of socety as a whole. Social assistance is designed to help those in need from mentally and physically challenge to able body individuals. Protection of children and youths as well as the protection of seniors and mentally challenged are the primary mandates and the realization that you can not change a person they have to want to change. Good luck I hope some of these points help. Do not forget inmate repopulation back into society.
