Do you know what freedom is? You can say whatever you want in this country(USA) and not be killed for it, because my father and his father fought in the wars so you could say what you just did. People have forgotten when we were bombed by Japan. If we had not went to war with them they would be telling you what you were going to grow up and be. I do not like wars but it is necessary to keep our freedom. Allot of things go on behind the science that we don't know about. Did you know even before Irac we were threatened every single day by other countries. I for one am glad I have a good soldier that has my back. You should respect other countries. Would you not do anything to protect your home from a intruder? Do you tell him I'm educated and respect my fellow man, and know you don't have anything so here take mine. Do they not still owe you the same respect. They hate you because your an American no other reason. Would you have rather been born in some other country? I may not agree with everything Americans do but I for one am proud to be a American.

Someday, when you grow up, you will learn that there always has been and always will be conflicts. You can't just "talk it over" with some people. Try reading some history books and enlighten yourself to the real world and some of the atrocities that war has put an end to. Some tyrants only answer to might. Generally, war is the last option. Its comes after many years of trying to talk about it. While the whole, "Why can't we just have world peace, man?", SOUNDS great, it doesn't work ion the real world.

War is a last resort. Some times, there are evil, insane people like Hitler who do not understand or respect anything but a reciprocal show of force. Look at World War II as an example - Neville Chamberlain, prime minister of Great Britain, thought that he had achieved "peace in our time," with his negotiations with Hitler in the 1930's. Right after that, Hitler plowed into Poland, taking over that country and several others - totally ignoring the peace plan he had just signed, and laughing in the face of all the other "diplomats" who had signed it. So, in your view, we should have just sat idly by, continuing to talk with Mr. Hitler, until he eventually would have come to his good senses, seen things our way, and withdrew from all the countries he had over ran and taken over. Hmmm, sounds logical, and I'll bet that would have worked... gosh golly, I wish they would have thought of that. We could all be goose stepping to the grocery store, waiting for our turn to be tossed into an incinerator.
Thank God that there are heroic people who have enough sense to challenge brutal dictators who are bent on destroying civilization. If everyone thought like you, there'd be nothing left to this planet.

It's really sad to see how naive some people are. Certainly war should always be a last resort, but sometimes it's the only way to remove evil from the world. If it weren't for war, you'd be speaking german right now and then only if you were of 'aryan' descent.
Until evil is eradicated, there will be war. So the question to you is, do you fight or roll over and get slaughtered.

There is a lot of money in war. The death of a few hundred people does not matter much to the people willing to take war spoils.

A good education will tell you that people will wage war AGAINST YOU, no matter what or how you believe. Why not, instead, limit your war to delf -defense and only what is necessary?

Very true. On the other hand, if we didn't have wars, we'd be even more overpopulated than we are. Not a very pleasant way to look at it, but sometimes the truth isn't pleasant.

Yes maybe but even in the bible it talks about wars and Nations against Nations, so this is not a surprise to God.
