I have a star on my foot about an inch from my little toe. It hurt really bad, but I love it. In about two weeks I'm getting angel wings on my shoulder blades. I haven't had any regrets. Just get something meaningful to you that you'll enjoy the rest of your life, and get it in a place where it won't stretch if you gain weight or shrink if you lose weight.

Tattoos are cool but consider a few things before you go under the needle.
1. Placement- Think about placement carefully. A symbol on your hand may look good when you are 19 and in college but when you are 30 and in an office setting it may not go well with management.
2. What To Get- Get something you are passionate about. What is in style today could look really foolish 10 years from now.
3. Shop: Make sure the shop follows all of the precautionary measures regarding sterilization and handling of equipment.
Good luck

I'd like to get a Japanese kind sleeve with plants and koi fish...however yeah that is in no way going to occur considering the fact that I cannot manage agony good. >.> BQ: I truthfully do plan to get a small anchor on my correct wrist, it has plenty of importance so it would not be a spur of the second factor. I've truthfully suggestion approximately it for over a yr now. I rather rather might like to comply with by way of with it whilst I flip 18 in a couple of months...however good...I used to be instructed the position I wish it might harm so dangerous regardless of the dimensions of the tattoo considering the fact that it is on a bone... D: BQ2: Yeah, truthfully! This Friday, I'm graduating top tuition and I'll traditionally be chilling with a few peers the leisure of the weekend. ^^ BQ3: No, I have not. I'm no longer a tremendous chance taker. xD

I love tattoos. I actually wanted to be a tattoo artist. (Takes alot of devotion!!) You should get a tattoo, but think long and hard about what you are going to get. Most people usually like their tattoos if they mean something to you. You should also get it in a place where you can conceal it. I got a tattoo on my forearm and at my job(secretary) I have to wear long sleave shirts everyday.....even in the summer. Once you have decided what you want make sure you pick a reputable tattoo shop and artist. Make sure you see some pics of his work and then ask him to draw up a sketch of what you had in mind. If you don't like his sketch, ask him to draw another one(it won't hurt their feelings I promise.) Make sure that you absolutley love it before you give them the okay!!! They will also need to position the stecil on your skin. Once the stencil is on your skin.....make sure you LOVE it and it looks straight.....Once again if you do not like it they can always reposition it!!! Good Luck. It is definately a rush! Good Luck!! Oh yeah..... I have add one more thing!! Colored Tattoos usually look better longer than black. Black tends to turn kind of green even after only a year. Color also looks less trashy (only my opinion!!)

Try a small one first, in a not too visible spot, than think about it some more. No matter what the artist say every tattoo that I've seen on some one looks like it was done with a felt pen, ten years down the road.

I have a huge chest piece and quarter length sleeves and my wife's name tattooed on my back. I would advise to get something that has a genuine meaning to you or get a tattoo during a meaningful time in your life (marriage, anniversary, etc.). If there isn't a meaning in your tattoos I think you will not appreciate them and regret them - that is what happened to my wife.

I really want a tattoo too! but if you are feeling like you might regret it, just get a small, not too extravagant tattoo in an area that is normally covered like your lower back, or even your shoulder or something.

Remember this-tattoos are permanent. As you get older, you may look back and think about some of the stupid or not planned out events in your life. Even though they have a process now to where you can remove them, do you really want to go through all of that?

Yes take it from a Navy vet... fromer drunken sailor who has 2 spur of the moment drunken frenzy permanent tatoo. this is what i tell everyone who asks me if they should get a tatoo. find one that you want. and wait one year.... then if you still want it get it. I know a year seems like a long time to wait but you figure if its gonna be there forever you better be damn sure you want it in the first place. and don't go in to a tatoo parlor with a bunch of drunken sailors
