Nintendo is definitely the oldest it was originally established in 1889 by a bloke called Fusajiro Yamauchi. It was originally called Marufuku and distributed Japanese playing cards. It changed its name to The Nintendo Playing Card Company in 1951. Nintendo means leave luck to heaven.

Nintendo has been the first gameing console to do a whole lot of things, like the gameboy, the nintendo entertainment system and now the Wii.

Well Nintendo has been making alot of gaming consoles that actually work! But like always it trails in last in the Video Game competition.

well, i think that is just their own opinion. my own differs from that. my own opinion is that nintendo is making the mistake that their audiance is still kids, but most are nearly adults if they aren't adults already. now, don't get me wrong, but i believe that it's great that nintendo is a family based console, but ya know, as much as i like the classics like mario bros and zelda, let's face it, nintendo's work is going down the tubes. i personally haven't played zelda: windwalker, but everyone i know who have played it said it sucked. and they loved the ones for n64. in the e3 console wars, gameinformer magizine called nintendo a distant third placer. those were not coming from their mouths either, it was coming from people the interviewed. i really don't know who is the best at the current time, but i know it isn't nintendo.
