It varies on how much you list it for and the final sale value. If you go into the help section you can find out exactly.
It cost about $2.00 on the low end to list and I think it is 2% of the final sale fee...I could be a little wrong on the % because I don't even look on it...I just list it.

Yes how much it's up to you, in the UK it's about 35p but the higher price you put on your item the higher the charge, if you use pay-pal to take the payment they are very dear, it's best to take cheques, and tell your buyer that it will take 7 days to clear. I have a feedback of over 550 this is something you need to look at if your buying, don't but if they have poor feedback, and watch how much they charge you for P&P which is another way of ripping you off. I feel it's safe, but you will come up against the odd con. When selling always include a photo, you can show this and for one it's free, tell as much as you can about the item you are selling, but don't send the item until payment is cleared. when selling they take a a pencentage which is low, on the final selling price.
Always leave feedback,
and good luck

They charge a small amount for each listing, and then a small % of selling value. It is very safe. I am sure their web-site would list all the safe guards. E-bay works by feedback. Buyers and Sellers work hard to have positive feedback so they are less likely to try to cheat you because it would effect their feedback.

Ebay will charge you fees based on how much you make on an item, plus an itital fee for selling an item. If you put a reserve on an item the fee is higher, the higher your starting bid, the higher the fee. The fee itself usually is a small % of what you make. It is generally safe, they have protections in place to safeguard both sellers and buyers. I recommend using paypal which is very safe.

They do charge you, but it's not very much. The charge to sell depemds on several factors such as number of pictures, etc., and it is considerably more if you actually sell your item.
Selling is generally safe. But you do need to watch out for scammers. I ran a small business on eBay, selling for about 12 months, averaging 1-2 sales/day and only ran into one scam. EBay/PayPal do a pretty decent job of protecting you. That's why they're successful!

Of course ebay charges you to sell things. How else would they stay in business?
It's safe if you're careful. Set up a PayPal account and only accept payments through PayPal. For high-value items, let your buyers use the escrow services.

Depends.. to sell i think it does.. to buy no it doesnt. Always use Paypal and you'll be safe. Make sure to say something like Paypal only and your but is covered for sure. Also try to put on a reserve adn set the price where you want it to prevent the item from selling more than you want.
