Were the Sith always evil or did their discovery of the uses of the Dark Side make them that way?

I believe to be able to use the dark side like they do, you have to be inherently evil. So they were always evil.

I agree with the above responses. Sith have always been evil and when they discoverd the dark side of the force, they became even more evil. that's my opinion

I think a sith was born like darth Maul and they were evil and taught people their powers for a strong army

This could be a tough question but They were always evil because they know the darkside far too well.
