Any male can be a father. It takes a man to be a dad. Always being there for the child, always putting your interests aside and making sacrifices are the things "dads" are made out of...

My own personal opinion is this......a "Father" is the man who technically brought you life biologically speaking. A "Dad" the the man who taught you, nurtured you, and loved you throughout your childhood and beyond. Your dad can be your father, but it's not always true the other way around.
