maybe ur body is still getting use to fact that your menstral cycle has started. for me i know after the 3 day on my period it does that but not all the time but once i back to moving around during the day if fine. i dont think that ur period actually skips the night i just think that the fact that ur not moving as much as night is what is causeing the skipping

I would just relax. My period is so so so OFF! There is most likely nothing wrong, however you should get to a doctor or planned parrenthood for some type of birth control. It will keep you regular, helps with cramps, and hey...you can avoid pregnancy too!

its perfectly normal for your periods to be irregular during the first year or so. The flow is normally a lot lighter at night anyway so dont worry about it.

Don't worry about it. I've noticed that mine is often the lightest, sometimes even non-existent at night, then in the morning it's back to to normal again. This is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about!

When you're laying down or sitting, you rperiod might stop flowing temporarily because gravity is working against it coming out of your body. It resumes in the day because you are upright.

While sleeping, your body is in a lateral (sideways) position, and the blood collects.. So when you wake and get up, the blood is able to flow out.

what is happening is perfectly normal. you may have also noticed that your flow will seem to "stop" when you are sitting in a bath. just be prepared for a heavier "gush" when you stand up!

Alot of women have different cycles. This one is yours.
If it would make you feel better, ask your parents to take you to the doctors.
