Because they are usually unhappy in their own lives... More thank likely dint even like themselves... Those types - can handle seeing other people happy..

i think cuz it makes themselves feel better. But there are some people who are just caught at a bad time because something very stressful could have happened that day. Who knows. I know i have to be mean sometimes just to get my point across. Maybe somethings wrong with me huh?

Because they feel that belittling you, in one way or another, makes them above you. They want this feeling because they have no self esteem themselves and being mean is the only way to get an ego boost and to distract from what is actually wrong with them. The best way to deal with that is to just smile, and tell them to have a great day and God bless, then walk away.

Life and situations make people mean. Everyone doesn't have a wonderful life and people bring it out of you.

It depends on what you did. If you come at me with a knife I have to be mean to survive. You would be badly cut with your own knife.I wouldn't be sorry.Sounds mean huh?
Maybe nobody want's any sh!t from you. Be nice and others will be.

People are mean because they are insecure, and it makes them feel better about themselves to point out their perceived shortcomings of others or to try to make others feel insecure too.

they think it makes them look better to put other people down - they are wrong - just smile bat you eye lashes and remeber they are pathetic losers who are not worth wasting you time on!
