Because people are unhappy and they have a need to worry about what others are doing instead of being concerned with themselves.

Well the world is populated by billions of minds and over half of them don't function properly. If everyone knew that the world would end if they didn't cooperate, that would give them a heads up and maybe just live. It all depends on the person, people are different and have different views about the world, all don't realize a lot of things going on and some just take advantage of everything.

Because without law lawlessness prevails and many innocent people get hurt. It wouldn't be fair to the weak if we let just the strong do what they want. If all were perfect this motto would work but reality is that to follow that others would get hurt.

Because it is nature's law that the fittest shall live...and some minds are better suited than other's for survival so you survive by your wits, whereas some have puny minds and therefore survive by brute force.At any rate, it's natural selection in it's cruelest form.
