No one was injured or hurt involving these Dui's but past convictions increase the penalty. Would like to hear your thoughts but remember the clock is ticking.....Thanking you in advance

Suicide is never honorable
It is a cowards choice
5 to 10 years is nothing
And Courts are notoriously lenient
I would bet no time at all after a sentence of three suspended
Wait and see and appeal the sentence if needed

Fifty bucks to a donut ( Krispy Kreme glazed )says you do less than 90 days on weekends if any at all
- I will be here so e-mail me or respond to my questions to collect if I am wrong

See you at the donut house after court
- your buying I bet

Face the charges! My kids dad had to serve 5-20 and was out in 39 months. I bet you won't get that much time. He is now a great person and wonderful dad to my kids, completely sober for 6 years now. Your life is NOT over. I know it seems like a long time, but death is forever. My dad committed suicide 2 1/2 years ago. It is so hard dealing with that. Suicide is selfish really. You leave your loved ones suffering forever. Don't even think about it, life always gets better. Maybe jail is what you need to sober up. It sure helped my ex. Yes, we missed him and he had a hard time but he is a competley different person now. It all depends on how YOU react to what life is handing you. You are VERY lucky no one was hurt or worse yet, killed. You have been given another chance to fix your life--take the chance and do your time. Come out a better person and if you end up not doing time, take this chance to quit drinking before someone does get hurt. Please talk to someone about how you are feeling. Good luck with everything.

You did the crime, do the time. Maybe when you get out you will think things through a little more. You mention past convictions, and no one was hurt - this time. What about the next time? DUI is preventable. I can not feel sympathy for you. Suicide would be the cowards way out, face up to what you did and deal with it.

If you've had more than 2 DUI's then yes... kill yourself right now. Are you an idiot? Didn't you learn anything in treatment from the previous ones? If you aren't strong enough to stop drinking then you are probably too much of a wimp to go through with the suicide anyway. Did you know that in El Salvador, a DUI is punishable by death. Only in America is it tolerated so much.

Face the music Gus, man up. Don't even consider suicide till you know what your getting. Then, if you really cant handle the "big house" after a while try posting your question again, changing it to,"ive been in prison for a dui for 5 years, i dont like it here. I have 5 left to serve. Should I commit suicide."

Is this your 'Cry for help'? If so, you are not really going to do it...your just pissed and want attention.

Now, I've been pissed about the same exact thing, but I only had one DUI...however, that cost me alot...and I'm much more careful now...plus it was a long time ago when I was younger and dumber...

Just take a plea bargen if you can to do as little time as possible...but just do the time and put it behind you and then move on with your life...sheesh...it's not the end of the world...

You knew that you were jeopardizing your future after your first arrest, now you want to consider hurting you family and friends for you mistakes? That's pretty Chicken Sh$$ if you ask me.

Go to jail, do your time and while you are there attend AA meetings so that maybe next time you will have enough consideration for others not to drive drunk. You are luck that you are only doing 5 yrs, you could have killed someone being so selfish.

Suicide is never the answer. The jail time is minamal for DUI. Don't drink and drive! There is a chance someone could get killed! That is why they are punishing them so strongly, maybe they will get the hint!

I want you to know that suicide is not the answer. 13 years ago I lost someone who was very special to me because someone decided to shoot her in the head. I did try to commit suicide but I survied it and my life has been filled with some of the best days that I have had in my life. I worked through all the pain and suffering and I'm glad that I did not die. Do you time and go on with your life I'm sure you will not regret it.

do you want 5-10 or life? Because that is what you get with suicide... you still have a good life after 5-10 (prob. do 2-3) and just dont do it again.
