I listen to both my heart and my mind....and my gut too! Gut feelings should be taken into account as well!

It is more important from the heart. The decisions from the mind should be math based and the result can be seen overnight. Decisions from the heart involve good sound business decisions, marriage, investment of your life income, friendship association & more. When the road opens like a Y and the which way to go is impredictable in its future, let the heart speak.

The heart is an organ that pumps blood -- nothing more.
ALL decisions come from your mind. How they're influenced by emotion or logic is complicated, and in reality since the "mind" is a complex organ on which both logic and emotion continually have influence it's often very hard to tell which one you're basing your decision on more.
Emotions are very powerful, and we often make decisions we know are wrong logically because of emotion. That doesn't make the decision wrong...it just makes us human beings :) Each decision to be made is unique, and unique to you as an individual. I do believe, however, that the best decisions come from knowing what's emotional and what's logical about your thoughts, and weighing both.

Metaphorically speaking teh heart is irrational and emotional and the brain is logical and systematic when the two are conflicted no decision can be made with a sound thought process. Both have to agree to get a strong response. Most people say they follow their hearts but they do not see that the jobs they hate are not the passions of the past but settling for the logical response to economics cost ergo the brain is the control central for all emotional reactions thus the question is null and void...to err is human but it feels divine! without error one does not learn and from learning we discover more about our own limitations causing the answer to your question to take on a multi-faceted response.

Mind.Cauz it knows all the truth and facts. So mind will take decisions accordingly. The decisions of heart r mostly depends on the age.For example,if a teenager's mom tells him/her to wash all the clothes 4 that day & she watches the t.v.That person's mind will decide to do that because children should obey their parents. But heart will say NO because it thinks that she is free and she wants u to do all that work. The difference is only between the two types of thinking. And u should prefer what u think is correct. In this case u should think that ,she is much older than u and she has got less life than you to enjoy. So you should let her enjoy in the way she like. And you will get time to enjoy later. So you should obey her.

You should learn to value them working together. The heart pours out the emotions. People can really get hurt when you act on decisions from the heart. But working closely together with the mind, you'll be much wiser for it.

I believe it is more important to value the decisions of the mind. The heart will usually mislead us, to where as the mind is a perfectly tuned instrument with an immediate instinct.

The heart is impulsive and reacts without thought, of course. Honestly most humans use both their heart and their minds in every decision we make. For instance, love at first sight is one of the most debated issues of the heart and mind. If you experienced love at first site would you immediatly start a life with someone? Would the wedding planning start that very instant? You have to use common sense and judgement along with what your heart tells you.

The heart. The mind tends to focus on more materialistic values, where the heart focuses on values dealing with emotion and feeling.

Well all the decision I made with my heart all of them were right, and almost all I mae with my mind were wrong, but I think it depends on each person, my intuition is very strong so my heart is almost right, my reason is not that reliable.

It is more important to listen to your heart rather than your mind because the heart doesn't lie, your mind can play tricks on you.
