To dry himself? Not sure about you...but my shower uses water. And im usualy soaked when i get out.

Maybe he didn't want to carry the towel in his hands. Notice that Donald has narrow shoulders and if wore the towel around his neck it will slip down. The only other option is to wrap it around his waist after getting out of the shower.

Well Ducks have feathers that get wet, he wore the towel because he wanted his feathers on the bottom to dry a little faster. Also, it's a cartoon, they emphasize that males should cover when they get out of the shower. It's like a little lesson for the young ones.

Disney did a lot of that kinda stuff that didn't make sense. Such as why does Mickey always wear gloves? These are questions that will never be answered unless Walt Disney himself comes back from the dead.

i don't know...but why did he wear a shirt and no pants...Goofy was always fully dressed...wait a sec.....Mickey wore pants, and gloves but no shirt...huh?
