I imagine one could sustain many illnesses from sitting at the computer for too long. But of course "too long" is quite a loose definition for our time frame.
I am no doubt soon going to suffer from a bladder infection as I have been holding my pee for about an hour now. Any longer and it may rupture.
Now imagine that I sat at my computer for several days. Without washing my hands, eating, sleeping, and simply soiling myself in lieu of the toilet, one can imagine it wouldn't take long for me to sustain the worst illness of all: DEATH.

It is possible to develop very dry or red irritated eyes because of staying on the computer too long. When you are reading for long periods of time you do not blink as often, and your eyes are exposed to the air for a longer period of time than normal. The remady is to remember to blink more often thereby lubricating your eye or, of course, use eye drops to relieve the dryness.

I dont know exactly, but I know staying on the computer for too long puts a lot of stress on your eyes, can cause tension headaches and is generally bad for your muscles.

Look in any game manuel and there's "safety info" on something called "photosensitive seizures", where you feel light-headed, shaky, disoriented/confused, and your face can even begin to twitch.
I played for 12 hours straight once, and felt like crap afterwards.

you would probably burn out your eyes before u get an actual sickness, but i would say something to do with the head like a headache. but u should be more worried about your eyes.

You can have eye problems from staring at the screen too long and carpel tunnel from improper typing.
