You already said you know telling the truth is right, what you're scared about is what will happen when you do. Odds are, your mum and teacher will each lecture you on how important it is to tell the truth, and there may be a punishment of some kind from your mum. But what you should be more scared of is what happens if you don't tell the truth. Teacher gets after the other girls for being nasty, they deny it, they get in trouble, Teacher gets after you because of what your mum told her and now she has reason to suspect it's untrue, you get in trouble with teacher, Teacher tells mum, you get in trouble with mum for being a liar, the other girls probably find out and you get in trouble with them. Lots more drama then if you suck it up and go tell your mum right now, and then tell your teacher. maybe mum will go with you to tell her. I know it's hard, but you can do it. best of luck!!

I think you should first go to your Mum and tell her that what you told her wasn't right. Then give her your real reasons for not wanting to be in the photo. Then have your Mum talk to the teacher and clear up before others are affected.
In the future I would advise you to be more open and honest with your Mum about things. I'm sure she loves you and would be supportive and understanding. She can help you. Hope all goes well.

If you dont tell the truth then you will worry about this forever. Trust me. I still worry about one time when i lied and my friends got in trouble over a broken couch. They havent talked to me since! Tell the truth. especially over something as little as sports photos.

You lied once, and now you want to lie some more? Get over it. Tell the truth to your mom and your teacher....NOW. Before more harm is done. In the future, keept the truth in front, it makes things a lot easier.

You might as well tell your mom and your teacher the truth now before the lie worsens.Eventually you will have to tell them what actually happened.

Just tell the truth. It may be hard, but you have to.
Why didn't you just tell her you didn't want to do sports photos? Is it required when you are doing sports?

It might be best to tell the truth and get it off your chest as well as off your heart. talk to your Mom and tell her what really is going on and make sure you apologize and please mean the apology. take care and don't be scared, you made the mistake now you must own up to that mistake.

Do what you think is right moally. If your woried about your state of being, pull the teacher aside and demand he/she do not use your name whalst communicateing with these girls. (you can demand things of teachers you know!)
