This has not occured just in the past twenty to forty years, but has been evolving ever sence we astablished this form of government. As this country grew the government grew with it. The government is so huge now it is in every aspect of our lives. When governments have the amount of power our does it becomes very sufficating, eroding our freedoms and liberties. We are regulated in most everything now. We have laws which reach right into our very homes, telling us how we can and should act and behave.

However, we do have an abiltiy to make changes. We have the right to vote. Sadly, many forgo this right, and then complain about how things stand. If you don't vote you do not have a right to complain. Only those who take the effort to vote can complain. Well, have any real right to complain, that is.

People need to get up off their butts and get out and vote. Take actions to make things different. It took a long time to get where we are so it will not be changed overnight. If we all stood up and went to the voting booths we would have such power to make changes. Only a fraction of registered voters actually get up and vote.

The main change our government needs is to get rid of the electorail college. We need to know that our votes will be counted properly. This is a major reason many do not vote. They believe their vote is not important as the electorial college gets to cast the deciding vote on which president to elect state by state. The electorail college is not required to vote with the majority. This is wrong and it needs to be eliminated.

However, our votes are important regardless of the electorial college. We could be rid of its impact by voting. There are measures before both the house and the senate right now which could rid us of this horrid system. It will not get it off the oonsititution, but it will basically make it null and void.

We also have power by contacting our representitives and senaters. They listen to what we have to say as we are the ones who will be voting for them come the next election. We do have power, we just need for our citizens to realize how much we really do have. Sitting at home and cmplaining is not going to get any changes made. We need to take action. The two most basic actions is to vote and contact our senators and representitives both federal and state. With computers this is made very simple. You can generate a basic letter that you can send out to all just by changing the name at the top, or putting in a general salutaion. I began doing this a few years ago and it has really assisted me in feeling I had a voice.

Thanks for this question, it is a great one.

our evolution is being facilitated, and things like christ returning are just too predictable to not filter into the insanity of using someones energies as a judgmental piece of intricacy into the "art" of hypnotism w/o effort.

the answer is simple FEAR. and in all honesty, it is very benificial for the government to keep us scared, because it is easier to control the masses. Fear is powerful. So is the governemnt.
