If everybody used this rule how do you think the world would be. If everybody did whatever they felt to satisifed their need.

If that was the case, there would be no rules. Rapists would have free reign on the prey until their lust was satisfied (which would never happen). Everything is wrong with Doing it until your need is satisfied, if you don't factor in other peoples needs. You would have a society of completely selfish people who wouldn't get anything done with no sense of morality.

I grew up with the song, and that is a JAM!!! However, you are speaking of hedonism and there are those who practice that way of life, but never really do anything for anyone else and they all seem to be extreme partyiers, abusive people, or serial killers. If everybody used the rule we wouldn't be here any longer, and if people used no restraint there would be no satisfaction, because they would be looking for the next "high", until oblivion! Restraint and self censoring is good for the soul
