It seems like you are desperate for an answer and something very important to you is a stake. Maybe it is a cherished relationship? Perhaps I am wrong. If it is a relationship and that relationship hinges on you being a virgin than maybe you should re-exam it. Unfortunately, there is no sure way a gynecologist could prove that you are a virgin. On the brighter side, there is no sure way they can prove you are not a virgin. Historically, it has been thought that an intact hymen, or a lack of one, was an indication of whether or not a woman is a virgin. (The hymen is a thin, tissue membrane that stretches across some, but not all, of the opening of the vagina.) Today, the medical field knows that this is not always true. A doctor cannot usually tell if a woman is a virgin by conducting a pelvic exam since the presence or absence of an intact hymen isn't an accurate indication of prior sexual behavior. A female's hymen can be broken, torn, or stretched at any early age by various exercises, sports activities, or the insertion of fingers or objects (like tampons) into the vagina. It is also difficult for a physician to determine your virginity status since some women are born with only a partial hymen or none at all. In addition, for women who have had sex, intercourse doesn't always tear the hymen, and instead may simply stretch it.
It seems for both sexes there is not a way for A doctor to check.
For a man there is no way at all.
The only true way to tell is the person that has been asked if he/she is still a virgin. Only YOU can say yes or no, and it's up to everyone else to decide if your telling the truth or not, but the more a woman has sex the more you can't falsely deny it, unless you know how to tighten it up with excercises. (yes there is excercises for woman to tighten the vaginal muscles.)

Yes,
there is a thin membrane, or piece if skin, that is like a wall in the back of the vagina called the hymen.
Usually having sex will tear the hymen.
A doctor can tell if you are still a virgin by checkng to see if the hymen is intact. This can be done by a simple pelvic exam.
Penetration by a penis will rip this thin tissue and may cause bleeding and pain. That is why some people say the first time hurts.
Don't worry about breaking the hymen from tampon use, it is very unlikely.

It's not possible to tell 100% but there is away to make an educated guess. Most women have a hymen and some loose it from playing sports, riding horses (basically being active socially). If u go to the doctor close after the time u've had sex the doctor can sometimes tell, u may be bruised a little. Otherwise u can have ideas but u can't be certain.

A doctor would most likely be able to tell.
I don't know if you can tell in a man, but some women have a hymen or maidenhead if they are a virgin, so if it is still intact it is safe to say you are a virgin, with some exceptions. However, it is possible for the hymen to break without ever having sex, for example, many girls and teens tear or otherwise dilate their hymen while participating in sports like bicycling, horseback riding, gymnastics or it can break while inserting tampons, or while masturbating. A girl may not even know this has occurred, since there may be little or no blood or pain involved when this happens. Also some girls are not born with one.

Well you can be a virgin & not a virgin at the same time it is considered that once the hymen is broken u are not a virgin, if you have never had sex or fingered your self then you know you are a virgin but also you can loose your virginity by riding a bycycle, climbing a tree or even lots of running so a doctor wouldn't know, a guy could know easy if his d.i.c.k isn't small because you would be extremely tight and he would even get fed up just trying to get his dick to go in.

Yes for girls, There is a thin layer of skin across the inner opening of the vaginal opening called the hymen. The hymen is a thin membrane that can become broken in any manner of ways, use of tampons, masturbation, fondeling, sports, even rideing a bike. So just because the hymen is not intact does not mean a female is not a virgin. Boys are on a honor system but in most cases brag that they arn't when in fact they are. Girls on the other hand would be taged a slut if they bragged of such a loss. Why is this may be a better question

Of course there are ways to tell. It might not be physical (males have none, girls might or might not have their hymen intact if they are virgin) but there are ways.
One would be by the skill they might or might not have. Virgins will have a definate disadvantage when it comes to the ways of sex, even if they looked at all the books in the world. Once you have sex, your understanding of it changes.. be it for better or for worse (depending on the skill of the partner, naturally).
There are other ways, but I find their reactions to sexual innuendo and talk to be much more telling than anything else. As brave as they seem in the face of such risque talk, the blushing cheeks, stuttering reply or boasting about nothing response would kinda tip you off.
This of course goes for people just inexperienced.. but other than the physical aspects, isnt it all the same?
Wow this conversation got way to deep lol

There is a thin membrane that stretches across the vaginal walls called the hymen. For some women, the hymen remains intact until penetrated during your first sexual experience. The hymen, however, differs from girl to girl. Some have a very thin one that can easily be broken by vigorous exercise or activities such as horseback riding, few women have a thicker hymen that needs surgery to remove. Some women don't have one at all.
What I'm getting at is that there is no real reliable test for virginity.

It is possible. Ther is this skin that knda covers the vagina that goes away when you have sex. However nowadays the skin can disappear from exercise and the constant friction of your legs. plus if you know you had sex, then you are not a virgin. and if you didn't have sex you are a virgin. And if you'r e not sure like if you were raped or somthing then the next time you do have sex check for blood on the sheets.

k well technically, you need a penis to penetrate you in order for you to not be a virgin, so if during your "first time" you see blood, you have just been de-virginized.
there are other ways too that you are not really as far as your body, horse back riding for ex. takes that away because of the constant movement and the way your sitting.
if it's something like that, then you really need to have sex to de-virginize your soul, even if your body already is.
