To get a good match, I would pay the extra $30 to have it professionally done. If it doesn't match the first time, they keep fixing it until it does.

Yes it would be a lot less hassle if you had it professionally done. I dyed shoes for my senior prom, try using rit's or you can use a cheaper brand, make sure to get a color fader so if the color doesn't turn out right you can try again. Bleach also works on light colored shoes. Take your time and don't apply to much the first time. Try out a little spot first down around the bottom or the back of the shoe, somewhere it will be covered up or won't be seen as easily.

Well, it does work better to have them professionally done, but if you don't want to spend the money, then may I suggest Rit's. Read the directions carefully and buy a color fader so that if they don't turn out how you would like them to, you can try again.
