Words of affirmation. Let him know how much you appreciate him. My husband eats this stuff up like candy. I made him a coupon book. Each page was a redeemable coupon. For example, One free back rub with the oils of his choosing. Or, a night on the town with the guys. Or, a night of lovemaking. Ect. He loved it. This way he can choose what he would like to do, he didn't have to think about it, and of course you will do what ever he would like to do since they are you ideas. Make sure so add to the book the reason you made it. Because you love him sooooo much.

Not a bad idea, but are you asking for something in the romantic or sexy category?
These are two different things, with two different results.
Of course, each man is different.
My wife has been both romantic and sexy with me.
Romantic in terms of getting a baby sitter, chilling some champagne and giving me a fantastic back rub.
And then she did a lot of sexy stuff which I won't go into.
Maybe do something relaxing for him...book a room at a nice hotel, both of you could take a bath together, in candle-light and champagne...give each other a good scrubbing and then slip off to where ever for a long, slow, romantic night.

surprise him
hubbys love it when there wives show them that they are still worth the effort. tell him to keep a certain night free, and make it a surprise. you drive, you pay, you organise. dont tell him what ur doing but tell him it will be from afternoon and all night.
u can do anything, movies and dinner, theme park, day spa, walk in the park, road trip, just doing something alone together, depending on ur cash and your man's taste. if he likes sports, take him to the footy. make sure its something HE enjoys. not just you. romance to a man, is showing him that he is important and doing something for him. just have a date like when u werent married, talk to him, and all day long,give him complements (complements are a way to keep romance an every day thing, encourage and complement ur hubby every day) so tell him he looks great! tell him the smell of his colone is your fave smell, tell him you love him, tell him he is funny, laugh at his jokes, make him feel special. dont suck up, but be honest and vocal about the positive things u feel and think towards him. make sure the end of the night ends in a great intimate bedtime, if u know what i mean... but the whole arvo/day, shouldnt be anticipating that, it will spoil the relaxed fun of it all.
he will feel so special, his ego will be sooooo up (in a good way) and he will love it. he will probably have the butterflies he had when he first dated you!!
