Restricting the amount of oxygen able to get into your system will make you feel light headed, and if continued will cause you to pass out, and then die.
The principal is exactly the same as holding your breath, glue sniffing or inhaling spray deodorant.
Whilst stoppping yourself from breathing for too long is obviously fatal, people also die from these activities because if they pass out, they are likely to vomit and can actaully drown in their own puke!
It's just stupid really!

It depends on how you use it.
I'm sure there is some way you could "play the choking game" with duct tape, so if killing brain cells is your idea of "getting high," then, yes.
Also, you could tape yourself to the fuselage of an airplane. When the airplane takes off, you would literally "get high."
I don't believe that the adhesive in duct tape would be all that effective as an inhalant, however, especially when you could find household cleaners and solvents in close proximity to most duct tape (whether in the hardware store or your neighbor's garage) that would damage your brain much faster than any component in duct tape adhesive.

It all depends. Just what is the height you are trying to reach? I would say that if you duct taped your friend to the ceiling, that would be pretty high. But if you duct taped him to a chair, this is not so high. Good luck with your duct taping adventures.

no, but it can if you go to Jamaica. they will trade you anything for duct tape, so if you ever go. bring a bag full of duct tape

I guess it might, if you burn it the fumes would be a poison, so you would get the same feeling from huffing i think. That's just my hypothesis. Like any other poison, you run the risk of immediate asphyxiation, the fumes could get stuck in your lungs, causing you to stop breathing ultimately leading to your demise.
