Not necessarily, though it isn't recommended. Since they are designed to be disposable, they aren't made very durable, and thus could cloud up, tear, or warp over time with repeated use. If you did the best thing for your eye health and put the lenses through a sterilization every night, they might degrade from the chemicals used to clean them. Repeatedly handling them could introduce foreign debris into your eye that could damage your corneas (which wouldn't make you blind by itself, but over time, little injuries do add up... and a scratched cornea is no picnic) If you go even further and leave your daily contacts in, it creates a breeding ground for all sorts of lovely critters that could infect your eyes and tear ducts. Bottom line: daily contacts aren't designed for continued use, so while you can get away with reusing them every now and then, it isn't a very good idea. I'd suggest either following the directions and use your daily contacts as they were designed, get some regular prescription contacts that are designed to be used for a year, or fall back on glasses and only use your daily contacts for social events when you don't want to wear the specs.

Yes, if they are only for 24hours then you should not use them more then that. It may hurt your eyes or give you infection. It is really worth all that? If you don't want to go through sets so much why don't you get the ones for weekly usage? Or even better- monthly. My contacts are Night and Day monthly so basically I sleep and shower with them. I don't have to change them until next month.

I hope not because I've been wearing mine for over a month I think. Mine are good for two weeks at a time though. Just keep them clean and if your eyes start hurting, throw them away.

i dont think it will make you blind, however, they can scar your eyes to the point where lasik surgery in this day and age cant even fix them, they can get worse and worse and eventually, i guess becuase of contacts you could go blind.
