He's a boy. I like to think the yellow Yoshi is a girl though.

I think it's a boy. Usually, Nintendo makes it obvious if a character is female, like with a hair ribbon or another feminine product. Also, they would make the voice feminine if Yoshi were a girl, and Yoshi just sounds like a high-pitched boy.

Yoshi is a Boy... I know this because in Mario Party 7 for Game Cube, they come out with a girl version of Yoshi. She has a bow on her head and everythng...

...ok, ok....yoshi is a male dinosaur. Yoshi is a boy name in Japanese. My brother has a friend named Yoshi (He's not a dinosaur).

well there are many yoshis and some are male and others are female! The main one the gree one is male!
