The Honda Odessy or the Toyota Sienna. You can't go wrong with those brands and the mini vans they make are kind of cool looking.

You fell for it... is there a white picket fence included... So you are in for life... need the "mini van", well anyway... there is a mini van they had in the military as a lease.. i think crystler makes it. it has a sliding side door and is rather quick.. it doesn't look like the family car unless that is your scene.. I would drive that over a sedan... as again it had a good sound system when having to go on the road and good pick up... without the boring look... I wish I could remember the name.. oh well... check there first.. it had a aerodynamic body and the ones I saw were always white... good luck. I'd say get the sports car.. pretty soon he won't need the baby seat and he'd appreciate you more... l8r

Well how is the money? The Mazda 5 is sooo cute! I want it and I don't even have kids. It fits 6 passengers. It isn't the actualy size of a mini van, but it has sliding doors on both sides. It is way too cute, you should go to their website and check it out. The Nissan Quest is also nice. That's a mini van, with just about everything you need!!!! I love mini vans and it's just me and my husband. Is that crazy or what?

Go with a mini van. You will have a lot of room for carrying all the extras you will need, pretty good comfort and better gas mileage than a regular van. The type you buy is more of a personal preference but I would check out sources like consumer reports first.

While never owning any type of van, I have seen too many mini vans flipped upside down on the highway-but have never seen a van flipped . On the other hand I have always felt that most vans do not have good visability and therefore I would never own one . On the other hand , there are some great roomy SUVs that accomodate a growing family .

I would base it on gas milage and cost to determine between a van and mini van. Cause I know the dealership near me was selling full size vans fully customized for like 9,800 cause they couldn't give them away. At that price who cares what gas costs.
But over all, family van, best out there is the Honda Odyssey. Drives like a Honda Accord but size of a van with hiding 3rd row seat and best crash stats of them all. And best resale hands down to any other van, mini van or suv.

I purchased a suzuki vitara xl7 and i love it! its not quite the minivan, more like a mini SUV but has that third row in the back. I love it, and it looks really nice! hasnt given me any problems yet, and its a 2003.

Depends on needs---go with Mazda 5 if you want fuel economy and sporty. Go with Ford Freestyle if you want a bit more room but carlike ride (besides you can get all wheel drive if you live in snow regions).
