It will be released in 2nd October, 2006 in North America and it will be released in Europe in 15th October, 2006. But dates may change if there r any problems shipping the game.

EB Games says that pre-release ships on 10/02/06.
Amazon.com says that it ships on 10/15/06.
I wouldn't get my hopes up to high. I'm thinking that these dates can still change. I really don't expect it to release until around Thanksgiving like World of Warcraft did.
