You should ask the doctor about it. I wouldn't think it would hinder your chances unless you miscarried originally because of an underlying fertility problem.

Let me start by saying my wife and I feel your pain. Our first pregnancy ended up as a miscarriage but that did not stop us from having two beautiful kids after that.If your desire is to have children, then you have to be patient and it will happen. We tried for 2 years after our misfortune and we have never been happier about the results.I do not mean to scare you but the 2nd pregnancy was considered a high risk one because she was only 19 at that time.Everybody is different though,so remember that as well.I hope this was some help to you.

Did you have a DNC when u misscarried?? If you arent sure what a DNC is, it is meant to clean out your system and ultamtely clean out what is left of the fetus. If you did not have this, it could possibly be a reason on why you arent conceiving.
Consult a doctor and GOOD LUCK!

Sometimes miscarriage can be a sign of conception problems. Stop trying and just let it happen. Sometimes stress keeps you from conceiving. It's the body's way of letting you know it's not time. Relax and think positive. Beef up on your folic acid and get healthy. That's the best environment for baby conception- a healthy body. Best wishes.

Miscarriages do not normally prevent additional pregnancies. If you have been trying to get pregnant for a year and have been unsuccessful, you both need to be evaluated. Your partner may have an undiagnosed problem, such as a low sperm count.

Miscarring can lower you odds of getting pregnant... it depends on why you miscarried before. If it is because of a physical condition, there might be something physically preventing you from becomming pregnant again. If it was just "something that happened" your mind may be preventing the pregnancy

If there wasn't any complications after the miscarriage and the doctor informed you that you will be able to conceive again, then maybe try to relax and not try so hard to conceive. Worrying will cause a delay too.

Have you been examined by an MD . . .lots of times it is something simple. Yes a spontaneous abortion can leave tissue and scaring that can make it more difficult for conception. Best bet is to see an MD that specializes in Repoduction.

no. one miscarriage in your past does not mean you cant conceive. heck, a dozen miscarriages in your past doesnt mean you cant conceive. (though if you had a dozen you'd want to be checked to make sure your hormones were in check)

if you've tried unsuccessfully for over a year you may want to check with a fertility specialist to make sure that you are both healthy and hormonally balanced... just to be safe.

either way - a previous miscarriage does not affect your chances of getting pregnant.
