That's what I decided in the beginning but I am getting married and my fiance wants to adopt him?

well it depends. i mean i dont know how they do it in other country's but in the USA we have s.s.cards. all you do is get a form have a name change. And try to get a new birth certificate. if the child is still young some states give you a amount of time where you can go back and fix the last name. My sister did it.
