Because you are outside and enjoying it, so everything tastes better. Plus being outside probably makes you quite thirsty and things taste better when you are hungry and thirsty. Not to mention it brings you back to the blissful feelings of childhood. The minerals inside the water and hose could also make it taste better. Try not to drink too much of it, cause the hose can't possibly be sanitary!

The water taste so good becasue before you took that sip so did the dog....not to mantion all the extra protein you got with the bugs that crawled up the hose before you turned it on... Nature at its best....LOL

its all the bacteria that live and grow in it as it lays in your yard heating up in the sun, it might taste good going down, but its not gonna be so good when it comes back up again.
