Some girls pretend to be stupid or "ditzy" around guys because they think that guys find it cute. They don't realize that it makes them look like airheads because they go so much attention for the behavior. They see that when they act ditzy, guys pay them more attention, so that's why they act that way. Most guys aren't attracted to those types of girls as fas as having a relationship with them. They see those types of girls as the types that you just hook up with, not the types you have a relationship with. Guys are more interested in having a long term relationship with a girl with a brain who shares their interests.

For some reason, guys like girls that are stupid. So they try to appeal to the men.

They do that for attention! I have a friend that does that and she doesn't realize how much that gets on peoples nerves! It's so annoying and when me and my friends tried to show her how she acts she throws a little pissy fit and starts to cry! Shes a dang 14 year old acting like that!

Oh they aint pretending....Its a well known genetic defect called 'being a woman' meaning your brain cant process anything other than 'make up', 'shopping', 'cooking', 'mothering' and of course a womans favourite past time 'parking the car badly'. :-)

they arent pretending. if they pretend to be stupid, they are stupid. they just act like they are pretending. but no, they really are that dumb. like, get it?

Because more people pay attention to them if there acting dumb rather than "normal". but what is normal? look at Nicole richie and Paris Hilton.

cause they think they can get a guy that way. low self esteem. i am not sure being a girl myself i dont even know that.
