Absolutely.
The first one that comes to mind is I Samuel 28:15, in the Christian Bible, where Saul calls up the ghost of the prophet Samuel with the help of a medium.
The Jinn of Islam can be considered ghosts, and are mentioned quite frequently in the Quran.
Also, I know that ghosts are spoken of in other religious traditions, but I'm not sure if they're part of actual doctrine. For example:
Pretas are the ghosts of Hindu men that die violent deaths and don't receive a proper burial.
'Hungry Ghosts' are one of the six Buddhist states of existence. (The Hungry Ghosts Festival is celebrated annually in China.)
There are Taoist rites for questioning and expelling 'demon ghosts'.
I suppose it all comes down to what you consider "religious documentation" - if you mean writings from recognized authorities (prophets, saints, teachers, etc...) then I think you'll find mention of ghosts in nearly every organized religion.

The Holy Ghost is not exactly the kind of ghost in how most people interpret the word, but yes, there is religious documentation throughout the Holy Bible.

That would depend of your defenitions of ghosts. If you see ghosts as a non human, non tangible spiritual being then you could say yes because there are many angels and spirits that come to the aide of those in the bible, however, if you mean ghosts that haunt people because they are dead or in pergatory i dont believe so. Maybe demons? would be the closets thing to your ideas of ghosts.
