why do we have to get them? i mean, it's so gross!

Having a period is your body's way of preparing for pregnancy. The uterus lines itself up each month so that it is prepared for the fetus growing in it. However, if you don't get pregnant, the lining will grow older and won't be as good for the fetus anymore. Thus, your body has to get rid of the uterus lining and replace it with a fresh lining each month, just in case you get pregnant.

Without the biological sex organs (ovaries and whatnot), you cannot reproduce. Reproduction is one of the main goals of an organism.
The "period" signifies the time in which a female is able to reproduce. It alerts the males in the area that she is able to bear children.

you have periods so you can pregnate and know if you are. every month your uterus makes tissues to surround the wall of the uterus to pre pair for a baby. And if your not pregnate the period is used for releasing the tissues and blood that was built up in the uterus becuase it is not need becuase there is no baby. but if you are pregnate your period stops becuase you need the tissues.

we girls get periods b-cuz its suppose 2 clean out your system better than douchin unless you want a dirty stank puzzy i think you should take care of tha gross period it would be there untill you get old and get minapause

lol i don't know how old you are so i won't answer the "why do we get them?" question. But It's totally unfair! I can't stand them cuz i get terrible cramps. I haven't gone to the hospital yet from them. But I have come pretty close to going.

Yeah it might be gross but for us if you don't get it you can get sick. I have a medical condition and have to take medicine to get it regularly. Trust me it could be worse for you.

Because, when Adam and Eve committed sin by eating fruit from a banned tree, God got really mad and told Eve that woman would be punish and pay with blood..... but, they negotiated and God arranged monthly payments!!!
