yes it can be done, you would probably have to type in something along the lines of windows XP download and then need a cd code for it. but thats pirating and its illegal

Yes, but doing so is illegal and Microsoft frowns on that. Not to mention, Windows XP requires online activation (except for OEM versions that came with most computers) Anyways, use keyewords like WinXP, Windows, XP.

You will not get a clean copy from a download site. If you are a student, ask tech services, they can usually get you a copy for about $70. That's not much to pay for security and peace of mind.

it can be free but there is no support from microsoft. so you can't update your computer. unlike original version. you can try limewire or bittorrent. try entering windows xp professional or home.

It would be illegal to do so. But that aside, most of the software on those types of sites is laced with viruses, keyloggers, etc. Go to the store and buy it, cheapskate.

Your best bet is to try bit torrent or uTorrent. but chances are you will not be able to download a bootleg version because of copywrite protection. What version of windows are you using now?
